Until recently it was thought that endometriosis was difficult to diagnose on ultrasound – this caused long diagnostic delays in the presence of a ‘normal’ pelvic ultrasound.

This video demonstrates some of the typical ultrasound features of endometriosis, Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis as well as many other causes of pelvic pain.
